About The Doctor
Dr. Ramona Sobhani completed her MD-MPH at the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington DC in 1998. She completed Internal Medicine Residency in 2001 at Yale-New Haven Hospital in Connecticut and stayed an additional year to serve as Chief Medical Resident in Internal Medicine from 2001-2002. She completed her Infectious Disease Fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland from 2002-2005. She worked as an Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease specialist at the Sinai Hospital of Baltimore from 2005-2015. She also served as the Director of the Internal Medicine Ambulatory Clinics from 2010-2015, where she worked closely with medical residents to teach ambulatory general medicine, develop medical education curriculum and supervise care delivered in the clinic.
Dr. Sobhani joined Women's College Hospital in July 2017 as a clinical associate. Her clinical practice sites include Women's College Hosptial in the General Internal Medicine clinic and Maple Leaf Medical Clinic. She specializes in HIV, salvage HIV therapy, management of chronic co-morbid conditions in the HIV-infected individual, general internal medicine and infectious disease. She enjoys working with learners and will be involved in teaching first and second year medical students at the University of Toronto for their case based learning seminars.
