About The Doctor
Dr. David C. Knox completed his undergraduate education at the University of Western Ontario in 2006 where he was awarded the Academic Gold Medal for the Honors Bachelor of Medical Sciences program. Dr. Knox Doctor of medicine from the University of British Columbia in 2011. In 2013 he completed a Family Medicine residency at the University of Toronto, followed by the OHTN Residency in HIV Care in 2014. He is an accredited HIV Specialist (TM) with the American Academy of HIV Medicine and his original research on HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis was published in the New England Journal of Medicine in February 2017. His academic interests are in HIV drug resistance and HIV prevention.
